Still no running, been nearly 3 weeks. Calf still hurts a bit with every step, but steadily improving. Been cross training a lot, yesterday 35minutes on arm bike, 35 minutes on recumbent bike, 30 minutes on elliptical, only felt a little calf pain couple times. Stretched really well after workout. Keeping weight low, sitting at 165 pounds, would like to drop down to 158 prior to August. Weight training a bit with gluts, hip abductors, core, quads, hamstrings, upper body including rotator cuff. Swimming some, would like to compete in a sprint tri late august, doing a kids tri with my daughter 9-10-11. Race a half marathon possibly in the fall. |
